Default RE: Lowering

Started thinking about this. I should probably just buy new leaf springs and lower the front 1". Try to make it look a little better than it does now.

getting your desired ride heightnever seems to beas simple as just changing springs (altho it should be)

for one thing, if you raise or lower the back of the car it will affect the body height at the other end.

for example, if you put new springs on the back and lift it, it will automatically lower the front.

If it were my car, i'd just jack up the rear a little (under the body not the diff) and measure front and rear, before and after...see what you find.

alternatively, find a big guy to sit on the front fender and measure the changes.

good luck...oh...and dont ask your wife to be the front weight...it doesnt please them

[8D]I can sit on my car and the whole thing drops almost an inch. Im not even big. I sat on the car to level it out 1 time. Thats when i decided i should check my tire pressure(car was leaning to the left). I will try the jack thing also.
