Default RE: Battery Question

Until you find the reason you are draining the battery, you'll repeat the prob no matter what batt you have. I've had perfectly good looking wires be bad, corroded internally. These can definitely cause intermittent probs. Its a PIA but worth it once you find and fix. There are numerous threads here to help troubleshoot.

My Optima is 5yrs old. Over those 5yrs I've inadvertantly drained it several times, usually by leaving the door open and interior lights on during an overnight break. Put it on the charger and all is good. Spend the $$'s on a good charger.
