I'm getting new tires for my 68' coupe and I always liked the redline tires. However, I know they were popular on the old chevy muscle cars, and they might look ridiculous on a stang. Anybody have redlines on their mustang or know of anybody with them on a classic mustang. Thanks...pics?

 

If I remember right, mustangs came with red line tires as an option. Mustangs Monthly did an article on the tires once I believe.

Yes, they were a factory option, and yes, they look good

 

oh ... i thought they came per default with the 65 GTs, nebver knew it was an option for all stangs

 

my opinion is different from everyone else's. IMHO the only red line that should ever be on a Mustang should have to do with motor RPMS and nothing to do with tires. I just don't like the way red line tires look.
