I'm going to be ordering a new harness tomorrow from Ron Francis. Was wondering if any of you added any of his accessories and if so which ones? Things like his dash gauge wiring kit, dome light kit and delayed cooling system shutdown relays.
While I'm shelling out the extra bucks for one of his systems I'm unsure if i want to buy these items from him. His pricing on these seem to be quite high. Just wondering if anyone here has used them or not.

I have installed 3 Francis kits and I have not purchased any "add ons". Don't get me wrong, I think the quality of his products are top notch and probably worth the $, but I am pretty good with wires and I have never felt the need to get extras.
I think I mightconsider the dash kit if you are going back stock dash though.
(as a side note, since you are going electric fan I highly recommend a SPAL fan controller. They have a "low" and "high" setting. when the "low" temperature is reached the fan is turned on at half speed. As (if) the engine gets warmer the fan gradually increases speed until the "high" setting is reached. At this point the fan is at full speed.
This is cool because the fan is quiet at 1/2 speedso your car wontsound like a giant bathroom exhaust fan when the car is running at moderate temps.)
Wow, that turned into a big "side note"... sorry..

LOL thanks for the info and I have no problem reading long side notes. Yes I am thinking about the Dash kit as we will be using the original stock dash. Any suggestions on where to order that fan controller? Thats pretty much what I wanted as I'm going for a nice quiet car.. with the exception for the rumble
. I was looking on Rons site but oddly didn't see one available from him directly.
Edit.. btw.. asked you about the wire lengths of the kit in the "Engine Bay Wire Detailing" thread.
