Default 69 to 70 bolt in glass adjust

Hi all. New to the forum and like what i read. I need advice/help with converting my 69 glue in glass to the 70 bolt in glass. I bought the 70 regulaors, brackets, channels, etc on ebay and bought the 70 glass (new, reproduction) also on ebay. The swap itself was easy. The adjusting of the glass is driving me nuts. According to the Ford Shop Manual, to adjust the inward and outward tilt of the glas, you loosen the two bolts that secure the bottom of the vertical channel runs and then move the glass the direction (inward or outward) you need it to go and then bolt it back up. I have the channels adjusted to the limit for outward tilt and it still is not enough! Part numbers for the c-channel guides that bolt to the glass are the same, front to back on both doors. Same for the vertical runs. Both c-channel guides when mounted to the glass have the "c" or open part, facing the rear of the door. I bought a new window regulator (1970) because the one i got with the used set was poping. There isnt an adjusment i can make to get the outward tilt close to where it should be. When the window is down most of the way, it wants to rub hard against the door frame with the beltline off, so its going to really ride hard against it when its on. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
