Default 351 cleveland

i have a 351 cleveland im rebuilding out of my 73 fastback mustang i was wondering if anyone had any tips or little tricks i should keep in mind and what the best oil to use the crank has been turned .20 the rest is factory except headers .

The only thing I can offer is to make sure there's a brass restrictor under the thermostat housing, caused me endless overheating headaches[:@].

You mean the crank has been ground .020 under? That shouldn't affect anything if the right bearings where used, so just use the correct oil for that engine. If it still has a flat tappet cam, try to run something with high levels of zinc in it.

the most important thing is to buy all new valves that are one piece

Whoever developed valves that were more than 1 piece, should be shot.
