If it's been parked for 20 years you'll spend time/money on all kinds of seals and gaskets...engine, transmission, etc. They deteriorate quickly in an unused car. And given the other thread tonight on what people find in old cars...watch out for possums.

I can only tell you to compare it to cars on ebay. I found that to be a good judge of cars in my area. I found that $20-25k can buy you a pretty nice 69 or 70 mach 1 with little to no body issues and a decent motor/tranny. For $15K, I would expect to put some money in the engine/tranny and probably some body work when you repaint.Who knows what they did when they replaced metal. The accessories like A/C, PS, and PB can also drive the cost up. Is the engine and tranny orginal. If so, have they been rebuilt. If they have not, then it is probably a good candiate for a project. If they have been rebuilt, you may find yourself replacing them. I learned that the hard way when my rebuilt motor started having blow by and oil issues. You only get one redo on the Clevelands.
