thats exactly what i thought. strip down starts next week.

here's some more...the flywheel had at least half a dozen chipped teeth and a couple broken off on the underside where i couldnt get a pic for now. about half the extractor bolt holes are completely flogged out.

not sure yet but it seems pretty likely. funny to say, i'll be happy if thats all it is. i'm having nightmares about broken pistons, bent rods, the works. I barely slept last night.
