Default 1977 Mustang questions

Hey guys I just bought my self a 1977 ford mustang and it has an inline 4 and I was wondering if a 302 would bolt up? Also some other info on the 77 would be great help!!!

You might have to do alot of work to it. A 302 will fit, but you might have to change the transmission, rear end, brakes and other stuff. I don't know Mustang 2s, but someone here does.

Hear is what I am finding out so far the V-8 came back in 1975 automatic olny and was a slug 135 HP 2bbl 302 tat was the best one the worst one was rated at 85 HP that was less than the V-6 offred for that year . gas chrunch remember . I am trying to find a kit with all the parts for ya cause thats the kind of guy I am LOL

I paid 800 CND for it and all it needs are rocker panels 1 door skin 1 fender and maybe a paint job.

not finding a kit for the swap sory , but they did come stock with a 302 so the parts do excist .

You might consider adding a turbo to that 4, like SVO did, I think in the 80's. Otherwise, like the others said, a real big project not really worth it.

the car only had 70K miles on it and it was bought new by a 60 year old woman so the motor runs great so im just buying a 302 incase I need it.
