hey hows it going, now you dont need to take my word for it but i own a 351cj and i still have the original intake but I put it off to the side and im running a edelbrock performer rpm in my opinion they make alot better intakes now then they did back then and newer ones will be lighter as well, but if you want still get the part and hang on to it you might find someone willing to pay a pretty penny for it to go back to original stock.

well they are better then the stock 351 intake but its would be better if you just coughed up the 300 to 400 for a nice intake there is alot to choose from now a edelbrock, weiland, blue thunder, and other aussie parts that are real good as well just look up for a right price and what you want if your running all stock just go with a nice edelbrock performer or if you want a little more go with the air gap just look around for what your realy wanting but all in all i would rather go aftermarket then original just keep the original incase you want to go back to all stock

IIRC I thought the only difference between the cj and c mani is the that cj is a spreadbore while the c is squarebore.
+1 on the Blue Thunder intake.
