Default 65 mustang worth 3K ?

it is a 65 mustang that is took apart. some sanding & priming is done.has most all parts except tail & head lights, seals. comes with new rebuilt motor { not sure if it is 289 or 302} never installed or cranked. front 5 lug discbrake, rear 5 lug. all glass removed but there. car seems straight except a dent behind rear wheel.needs painting & assembled. he wanted 4K but has come down to 3K. he has found another project. let me hear from you please.

It's worth 3,000 $ but it will take alot of but will be worth it if it's what you really want , you can find one in good shape and driveable for that price. I seen a 65 fastback on abay for alittle over 4,000 $ it's up to you

I live in the Phoenix Az area and payed 2k for a carcuse ( spelling?) so 3 k wouldn't be bad, as you don';t know what kinda shape the motor's in, so if it's a winner,, your way ahead, as far as being in peices,, well put together or not ,,one way or the other the car will be in pieces,, and you'll probably be buying new pieces,,you'll still need a paint job anyway etc,, the main thing is at 3 k it's not bad if the body's in basically good shape as your getting in on the ground floor without getting burned straight out,, that's the way I went at it as because at say 7 to 10 k you don't know if the work was done or the quality of the work and get burned,,,, when you have a "raw" project you get to control the whole deal and take your time making the call's

.. The cheapest fastback within 500 miles is like 9k and it's completely useless. Would have to be completely restored. How in the **** did you find one for 5k? Lucky.. I'm jealous.
