They did for fast and furious tokyo drift but your looking at 8 grand for a 276hp low torque pos for that much i can build one nasty small block.The rb26dett is the inline 6 2.6 liter dohc efi twin turbo engine from a nissan skyline gtr from 89-98 there not cheap and have low torque better off using a 3.8 v6 same power and cheaper.

j/p but seriously no id do a turbo ford 6 before i ever considered that. or a 2.3 turbo ford in fact a member here is doing a 2.3svo swap

supposedly they didnt have enough room to run both turbos like a factory supra setup do to the shock towers etc.

I heard that they put the rb26 in there cuz they thought there was no way that american muscle could make enough power to drift a car, but they ended up having to put a v8 in for some of the scenes because the nissan couldnt drift it.
