once your at speed, driffting really IS all about suspension and tires. and alot of skill. theres like at least 4 ways to start a drift. only one of those has much to do with power

meh, i would drive it. at least it is something original... a turbo i6 would be better tho, but i dont know if it could make 340 rwhp.
the rb26 is a turbo i6 isnt it

but if you want a Ford Turbo6, this is the latest we can get from the factory
http://www.fpv.com.au/media/19390/fp...ifications.pdf

270kw = 362hp
550Nm = 407 ft lbs
and only 9lbs of boost. Plenty room for improvement

i think it compares quite favourably with that (modified?) rb26

I heard that they put the rb26 in there cuz they thought there was no way that american muscle could make enough power to drift a car, but they ended up having to put a v8 in for some of the scenes because the nissan couldnt drift it.
we like V8 drift cars
these are GM product - you know their relations as a GTO

ManyGTR's here in Japan are putting out huge numbers on power.
They have off the shelf kits for 550 & 650hp. These guys introduced
drifting to the US. Its been considered a sport here for many years
before it was popularised in movies. Most race circuits here have
drift tracks & then there are the specialised drift only circuits.

I think Mustangs should have V8's, but have a lot of respect for what
they can do to those Jap motors.
