Default headlight switch

ok, so thanks to some electrical guys who didnt know what they were doing, my headlight switch is fried. its not all the way gone, but it does make my dash and (i think) running lights switch on and off when im driving sometimes. Anyway, it would be a simple replacement, but once i took off the rod that pushes in and out, I found that the inner bezel that takes a phillips screwdriver was stripped to hell. Now I have no clue how to get the damn thing out! any suggestions?

If you could post a pic it would be great.

What size phillips screwdriver are you using? If you're trying the large no.1 phillips and it still won't grip you might be able to get ahold of it with a wide blade straight screwdriver or even a pair of needle nose pliers.

If the above dont work you may have to use a tap and buy a new bezel. Good luck
