I had my intake cleaned and the casting number on my intake does not match anything I can find. Can anybody identify this number
It is either a C6AE9425-H or C8AE9425-H
Any help would be appreciated.

at the very front of the intake manifold you should have another number stamped that should give you the date
something like:
6D22
which is 1966, Apr 22nd
(a=jan, b-feb ....)
that should help you determine if it's a C6AE9425-H or C8AE9425-H

I looked all over the intake and can not find the date stamp. It has the firing order stamping on the front 15426378 and each intake journal is marked, odds on one side, evens on the other. FAMOCO is also stamped on it and no other markings. I know the C6 or C8 stands for the year. Most of the websitecode breakdowns indicatethat "AE" stands for Galaxie, but this was also on Mustangs. The 9425 indicates intake, but nowhere have I found the letter H at the end.
