Default Engine feed harness

Anybody have a minute to help me out? I have a 66, 289, 4 spd car... I am working from scratch here, so I didn't have the ability to take notes for assembly. I need help with the engine feed harness, solenoid and alternator wiring. Which wires go to the coil, oil press gauge, water temp gauge, which wires go to where on the solenoid (to the starter/ground)...Any help would be greatly appreciated! (pics most definately help me the most!)

You need a factory service manual. All of the wiringschematics are in there along with a breakdown of the factory wire colors.

If there was a mustang shop around the corner....open until midnight, you're right, I wouldn't need to ask these questions...just trying to get a head start on wiring this thing up. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on the availability of these books at the store. I'll write those directions down and keep them in my toolbox...

Don't you just love such helpful responses? I have some wiring diagrams but don't know how to attach them. PM me and I'll send them to you.
