Need help with some ideas for my center console i'm creating.
i have a 3" high slot by 8.5" wide that i was going to place a couple of small gauges in. since i
already have the gt cluster i was thinking of not inserting the gauges anymore.So My much
neeeded help would be some great ideas other than gauges. (cd holder, leave blank, future a/c controls...??)
let me know what you guys think? goo with the gauge idea or try something different? what?

switches! you could do some sweet aircraft style switches or some more refined ones. or you could just have a HUGE red button, and everyone who saw your car would ask what it does, and you could come up with something creative.

I have a "pocket" in my 98 where the factory radio used to be. Its great for papers, pens, cellphone, cds.... If you left a pocket in your dash towards the front, I thnk it'd be really cool

 

Not sure if this counts as a guage but GPS may be a good idea, thats unless you know your area like the back of your hand. I think most GPS units are a one time fee, only problem is they costa pretty penny.
