Kinda looks l.ike the 69 boss hood, but I believe those were 429's [&:]

 

its hard to say. if its a Ford (specifically a mustang) i can almost guarantee it would be a 68. you will find that they are labeled all over the place as either a 427 or a 428.

Mercury was notorious for using 427's as opposed to 428's. the Cougar, Comet, Montego, and Cyclone, to be specific. these cars used 427's from 1964 to about 1970.

but im sure the guys in the classic section would be able to help you better with this, so thats where this thread is going. since i wouldnt back my information on this subject 100%.

 

looks like a 67-68 with a boss 429 scoop and a 427 emblem

 

The window trim looks like 68. And it does look like a boss hood scoop. It's a mutt! Proably a sweet one at that
