Default Solenoid

When testing my solenoid with a test light... should I be getting power to both the 'S' and 'I' posts? Right now I'm only getting power to the 'I' post, but not the 'S' post...

I'm not getting any spark to my plugs, could this be the problem?

I would look at the coil and check for power, also it can be bad or weak or even have a loose wire. Look at the coil wire as it can be bad also. You may have to pull a plug or buy a tester that goes in between a plug wire and the plug to see if the spark is getting to the plug. These are handy to have for these old cars.
