66 mustang, 302, B&M miniblower 7LBS of boost, tfs1 cam, stock heads, hooker long tubes, exhaust. STOCK 273:1 GEARS.. killin me!!! 4 speed top loader. this car will not see a lot of freeway driving,. pretty much track and around town fun.. ;]

im getting a detroit locker, and want help choosing gears ;] thanks in advance guys

 

i wouldnt run anything more then a 3.55 with a roots blower, they dont need redline RPM's to see full boost like centrifugal blowers do.

 

3.55's at most, 3.25 would work well, 3.55 may start to see traction problems. Turbo or positive displacement blowers tend to work out better with taller gearing.
