I took out my gauge cluster last year, hoping I would buy one of those fancy deluxe setups [$$$$]. Well I'm putting the old cluster back in for now. Any tips on reconnecting the speedometer cable? I got the other plugs [3] plugged in but I can not get that speedometer one to thread on.

It's called patience & persistence. Ya, it make take a few attempts. Make sure the cable end is lined ups correctly and you will get it sooner or later. This is the time when small hands would come in handy.
