Default Help with decoding FE motor

I am buying a 67 S-code fastback that has a different motor than the original 390. The casting stamp is "C5AE-A". I think this is a 427 for a Galaxie. Is this right? Is it a good motor for the car? Horespower??? etc??? Need old mustang gurus help. Thanks.
