that's funny. She does want her own, but not a mustang. I won't mention the name here.

Well since I have to guess....

I will guess she wants a Chevelle of some description or a Camaro...

Chevelle is my first guess though...

Close, the 2nd one. A 68 or 69. You know which one will be in the garage, that's right the Mustang. Actually they both will be.That would look weird seeing both of those in the same garage.

I am thinking about what to tell my wife when she wants to take the mustang out. I will worry to death! []
Well, you have to build the car without power steering... This in itself will help... additionally you can have the initial alignment done with lots and lots of caster, this will make the wheel difficult to turn.... Once your wife has experienced "what no power steering" feels like, have the alignment re-done....
Could be a bad idea if she tries. My dad had a '46 ****** jeep without power steering and brakes, and the one time my mom drove it she came extremely close to crashing. My dad had to slam on the brakes and steer from the passenger seat cuz my mom could do neither physically...

You could just have some cutoff switch or something and never tell her about it, so it just seems like she doesnt know how to start it...

EDIT: or just buy a camaro and let her crash that.

C'mon, you youngsters don't know how to keep females from driving your classic? You get a personalized plate that says FAT PIG, IM EASY, BIG HOG, LRG BUTT, or something similar. And to the females on the forum...my apologies, but I was obligated to help my brothers in their time of despair.

She would laugh at that and drive it anyways.
