I guess I'll have to show you all how it's done. I fabbed a bracket today for the slave cylinder. I pretty much got everything ready for the insertion tomorrow.

Very nice work, simple, clean, atractive, and functional...

Funny Jim LOL. I'm glad I did use the heavier angle. I was going to use some smaller stuff and I'm glad I didn't. As tight as everything is, I seriously would have cried if I had to change it out.

6T9, I have read that I cannot use a power brake booster due to the location of the CNC master cylinder. I did read somewhere though that someone used a later fox body power booster with success. I'm sure it can be done. I've gotten this far and I'm lovin it! I'm sure when I get started on my disk brakes I'll start looking into it.

Valley.. Hey thanks for all the info. I've read a few other sites and noticed the support plate on the inner firewall. Sounds good with the steering column removal. Want to pull it anyways to clean it up and for painting the engine bay (everything else is out already). Good to know about letting it bleed via gravity as I'd have likely slowly pumped it.

How large (or small) of a reservoir do you need? I bought 2 2"x17" polished aluminum rad overflows, 1 for the rad & 1 for the window washer fluid. Looking for something like that for this as well but unsure of the size I'd need. I would think it would be fairly small and no where nearly as large as the rad overflows.

The reservior is only a little larger than a D cell battery. I will take some pics today.

Thats something I've been thinking about as well.. as my new shiny chrome brake booster was just delivered 15 minutes ago. I'll have to wait and see how much room there is.Possibly extend the booster out to clear the master cylinder or lower the master cylinder a bit and the fastening point on the clutch arm.

Hello i know this was posted a while ago but im installing a hydraulic clutch in my 68 mustang but i have a hydraulic clutch kit from a 66 that i bought but i do not have any more i was wondering if it will fit? As you can see below the master cylinder is welded at a slight angle will that be a problem?
Also i wanted to know howto drill or cut the whole where the master cylinder goes in through the firewall? my 68 has no plug the whole is welded i can show you a picture to be more specific if needed.
i would appreciate any one's help. thanks.....
