Some of the convertibleparts are used up untill the 93 models. You should look into this when buying parts for it.

Jaw66,

thanks for the heads up. I didn't know that, and that simple piece could save me a ton when it comes to looking in the yards for replacement stuff...

Is the car yours or are you just getting the joy of rebuilding it.

Got the seats and carpet out tonight...

Under the front seats looks good and solid, but the rear looks a bit rough.. Don't think it will need a patch, but it is pretty close to it..

Tell me what ya think

I am about to finish stripping the interior floorpan to bare metal and then apply POR 15 to the whole thing.

I have a question before doing so.

Do I put the seam sealer on before painting with POR15 or afterward? I don't understand what use it would have if it was applied on after the POR 15, but I am open to enlightenment.

Thanks

Well it has been a bit since the last post, had to actually work a little around the house, and keep the Momma boss happy.

I was able to break away and remove the front body panels and the front fenders.. Getting everything ready for sandblasting it so that I can find out what I am really working with. So far though she looks really good.
