i know there are a few people on this board who have painted theirs black. i decided to redo the body work (it pissed me off every time i would look at it, it was really bad) and repaint my tail light panel a semi-flat black. im priming and blocking it now and it should be finished in a few hours. ill post pictures when its all done. I hope my bodywork looks decent haha

 

So the body work only sucked on the taillight panel? Good luck with it, I'm sure it will turn out great. I've seen the people that have blacked those out and they look great, should pop with your color too. Definitely post pics when you're done

are you just rattle canning it? or what are you using?

 

well the body work is bad all over but that area was really pissing me off. its just rattle can stuff. ill get pics when i wash my car, it really does pop though. i also got a gt350 hood for it that im going to paint to match...it has holes for hood pins and everything. best part was that it was free

and yes, the red was rolled on. its alright for a diy job, i rushed it though and didnt spend enough time on the body work
