Default 289 Timing cover's interchangeable ?

Can anyone tell me if the 64,65, & 66 289 timing covers are interchangeable? I'm rebuilding my c4 (64) 289 and need to replace the timing cover/water pump. I assume all 3 years will bolt up, but just to be on the safe side, I need to ask.

Lastly, the water pump that cameoff has the open impeller, with the timing cover question in mind, shoudl I consider anything when replacing that as well?

As long as it doesn't look like this you are ok. this is a 64.5 timing cover.

No, mine does'nt have, what appears to be an extension housing, but it is a 64 casting block and matching timing cover (C40E). I ask this only because the motor was recently rebuilt (previous owner) and the only parts not replaced were the timeing cover and water pump...
