Default Got some new wheels

The wife and I were up in San Antonio this past friday and we made a stop at Pick and Pull looking for some wheels for the '65 coupe. Found a nice set of aluminum wheels off a '99 Mustang that had been totaleda little bit. They are 15x7 wheels with 5 inch setback. Rght now we have a set of 14x6 turbine wheels (yuck) with a 4 inch setback and these will add a bit to the car. All I have to do now is come up with some spacers about 1 inch thick and they are on.

I wouldn't trust a spacer or a adapter under hard braking or cornering your more likely to sheer your lugs off.

Just tried the new wheels on the '65 and they need bit of help. The 15x7's have a5 inch set-back and that puts them about 1/4 inch from the rear leaf springs, sooooo...it looks like I need about 1/2 inch of spacer. The problem lies in that the studs on the axels now are about 1/4 inch short. It looks like I could use about a 3/4 inch longer stud. Where can I get some of these??

You guys and your online ordering drive me crazy! There is no point in ordering something like that when it will be hit or miss on if it will fit. Knock one stud out of the rear axle and take it to the local parts store, like Carquest or NAPA. They will have what you are looking for and you can compare the studs side by side.
