Hey guys. Finally got the gears rolling on this swap. The 5.0 is almost prepped for installation, as is the AOD. Just got one quick question: When I picked up the engine/tranny, the TV cable was still intact with the tranny. Being from an 87 lincoln (town car or whatever) could I just order a carb conversion kit and use the factory TV cable? Price is a huge factor in this project...

 

Pick up a lokar tv cable...easy to install "if" you are using a stock shifter...dont laugh richard...
