Default Do-it-your-self priming

I am thinking about buying a sprayer so that i can prime it myself, do anyone have any suggestions on what kind of sprayer to get? Im looking for one that less than 300$ and is pretty user friendly? Any idea?

I used the older technology siphon tyoe gun for my primer. Upgraded to a gravity feed for the paint...

If you plan to take it to someone else to have it painted after that, expect them to remove your prime job and do their own. Most places worth their salt wont work from someone else's work since they don't know how it's done and can't guarantee anything. Just a heads up.

I'm in the same boat as John721. I still use my old DeVilbiss siphon gun (even for paint, though not for any body/finish jobs anymore). I know it uses more air and more material but I know how to make it do what I want. I'm sure at some point I will break down and learn to use an HVLP.
