howdo i take out the grille on my 70 coupe? it looked simple but theyre are these tabs that dont have a screw bolt on them. theyre plastic. i guess i could force them out i just dont want to chance breaking them. any tips on how it comes out? i also need to take out the lower grille molding.

Try pushing them up from the bottom,, If you break them you can use some small screws and washers to replace them, or just buy more.. Im sure they are pretty cheap.. screws
will look better..

hmm on my 69 there wasn't any tabs like that, just screws. Of course the grills are different though. I would assume there would be a screw or something in each corner on the top, and then tabs sticking out on the bottom screwing or bolting into something. There is also probably something attaching it to the center grill support which is attached to the whole hood latch assembly
