The tranny on my 66 looks like its leaking at the neutral start switch (I only know what this is called by the book!), is there a seal behind there? Can I screw anything up by replacing it? I know nothing about transmissions. Thanks

 

iirc there is a o ring on the shifter pawl that you replace from the outside after removing it

 

Itsounds pretty easy. Can I screw something up so the car wont turn over or something? I was thinking I would mess with it once I have the engine back in and running right, just so I dont have it not start because of the tranny. Thanks
