hello. I've got a 67 (2/21/67) and i'm pretty sure that means i should have a bag instead of a tank. my question is....should the bag be black with silver lettering or black with gold lettering??

I'm looking to order one and National Parts Depot has the silver and Year One has the gold.

 

Gold is correct IIRC, there was agold one when i got the car and replaced with gold.

 

Your correct on the bag for your date. We have a 67 born 1/10/67 (2 days early). The early 67 Mustangs dated before 3/1/67 have a number of differences between the later model.. this being one of them.

I just found out that there are even slight firewall and toe board differences this past week.
