good thread I still need to hook up my stereo system, need to buy speakers and new speaker pod kick panels before I can though. My headunit is in though

haha...i just got some boxes for the 6x9" and put them on the floor in the back...i put the other ones in the package tray or whatever. had to cut the dash though

Damn, wish i woulda read this thread earlier. I would have sold you my Alpine headunit with iPod controls for cheap. I sold my iPod and bought a Zune so my headunit is kinda useless now. It's a sweet headunit that looks great in our classics because of it's style and lighting. Goodluck wiring yours up. I'm glad the PO cut my dash, I don't think I could have done it without feeling guilty.

DANGIT!!! haha, from what i heard alpine is much better than pioneer. oh well...

oh and i was just kidding about hacking up the dash...i got a under dash mounting kit for the extra $20. it looks funny, i have my stock radio and a new one under the dash haha

well they have those ones with the front aux input...and i dont really think mine is ipod specific. it has a usb cable on the back so i think you can plug just about any player into it but im not sure. its WMA compatable though, i know that much

Ya but none of them really look that good in a classic interior. They either have huge or akward ***** or funky ugly lighting.

yeah...you have a good point there. i wanted to put mine in the glove box but it just would have been too inconvenient. its pretty subtle though...not flashy which is nice.
