Default Will they fit without rubbing?

I have a 68 convertible with these 14 x 6 rims. I think these are called 68/69 styled steel wheels with the slots and beauty ring and center cap. Can I put on P215/60R14 or P235/60R14 without any problems- what size and make is the best ? Thanks

235's are pushing the limits of a 6" rim (if not past), I'd go with the 215's personally

i have a 68 with the same rims i had 215 and they rubbed on my upper control arm, knowi have 195's on and plenty of space you could go with a 205 but that might be pushing it.

I had 205's in the front and 215's in the rear on a 66' with no problems.
