Paint Stripper?
When you say aircraft remover it makes me cringe... Prepare to be on fire unless you wear a body suit... Aircraft is what I used to strip the paint off my engine bay. It worked really well but I was hurting the whole time.

i used that stuff..... yea it burns the skin, works best when its warm. but that a wire brush and and some harbor freight paintbrushesh should get the job mostly done.... after that a shower to stop burning... i'm not too sure about dirt and grease. I shot everything with purple power to clean it before.
While it may remove the dirt and grease, you should clean the area first. Why use expensive stripper when you can use a cheap can of oven cleaner and a good strong stream of water?
took me 4 applications in 65ish degree weather today to do the interior rear quarter panels on my 64. partially because it was textured and it was painted black over white. i havent heard of the plastic wrap, darn
I used old brake fluid first with a brush and washed it off with a degreaser. Then two coats of stripper with a pressure wash after each. 99+% removal of all the paint down to the metal. The brake fluid softened up a lot of stuff (dirt, grime, grease and some of the paint) but you need to leave it on for a day or two. I like the brushable stripper the best. A good pair of rubber gloves and goggles helps. Careful not to breath the fumes.
