Default Tranny Swap

Does anybody know what it will take to switch from a automatic to a manual for a 66 coupe. I know there is welding and alot of things to check but im not sure what. Thanks for any help

this job is almost becomeing standert on the foxes , well for me it is I have done a coupple and now all the high school aged kiddies in my naborhood want me to do it for them . B/W I will olny do work on thes cars threw their fathers I dont work for minors .

back on track is their welding involved on the classics it's a nut and bolt job on a fox . My ranger with a A4ld is about to quit so I am swapping over to a M5OD 5 speed . This is a nut and bolt job also

why do you do this Because automatics are cheapper than standerd cars around hear . and with junk yard parts it's a $100 job . They olny want $50.00 bux at my U-PULL for the box

so do you hafto weld on a classic , and what is it that your welding

Mustanggood, thanks for the site link. The only reason i was considering swapping out to a manual is because i already have two automatics. My uncle just bought a 65 gutted project that he wants to turn into a 5 speed drag racer. Fats, what neighborhood do you live in philly. I just moved from there two months ago
