Why does it seem that most of these post are by kids that just want to go faster and don't have a clue as to how to get there? If you want to know why something don't work as intended or want help fixing something, it is best to give a description of the exact problems you are having, ( when I do this, it does that) not I want to go faster so, I must need a biger fuel pump.....sorry. This is driving me nuts though...am I alone?

Well, most of your posts are going to be initiated by people that don't know or are unsure about something. Given, that most of the older guys have been around the block a few times with cars, the younger crew would be the post starters. I know from experience that there are plenty of idiots out there that will tell you wrong information and when you go ask someone else about it, you end up looking like a complete moron with incorrect info. Why do we want to go fast??? Why the hell do we have Mustangs?!?! If we wanted a poop scooter, we would buy a Hyundai or Saturn. The only way people can learn about this hobby is to ask questions and research. Thats what this forum is for, to help each other out and share great experiences. Granted research outside these posts can be done before asking the same questions over and over, but give them a break. At least they arent out getting drugged up or being lazy like most youth of today.

Yes...more detail is needed in order to help solve problems. I just don't want people bashing kids for asking questions.

I'm 43.

I like to go fast, too. Does this mean I'm considereda kid? To some, yeah.

I'm on my 4th Mustang, all were at least 13 second cars (except for the '69 which I've only driven once), I've also had two Trans Ams that I made go fast...one was a low 12 second car. I stillask questions, too.....probably some dumb questions in the eyes of many.

I've also started some dumb threads on forums, too. However, I personally don't think any were as dumb as this one.

If someone doesn't know something, the best way to find out is to ask someone that knows. And, yes, sometimes people don't know enough to ask the right questions.....tha'ts okay. This is what these forums are for, in my opinion and we shouldn't discourage people (old or young) from participating just because they can't rebuild a Holley double pumper blind folded in the dark with only a soup spoon and a dull butter knife for tools.

HAHA...we are all doomed if this happens!!! Glad to see that everyone shares the same feelings about this issue. I mean...who doesn't like to go fast.

Exactly right, I've been working on cars since I was 13 or 14. I remember fumbling around not knowing what to do, at times, and the only person I could ask was my friends dad, when he wasn't too tired to be bothered by one of the neighborhood kids withdumb questions.

I think these forums are the best thing for hobby shopgrease monkeys young and old since Haynes manuals and JC Whitney catalogs came out. LOL.
