I don't like heaps of chrome either, but the factory GTrolled twin-tips are very tasteful. They're only supposed to stick out an inch or so. When I get to that point, I'm probably going to get a pair of stainless twin-tips to put under there (because theOE-style GTtips are way too small for performance).
ive seen some people have em stick our 4, 5, maybe 6 inches[:'(][:'(].
i have the aftermarket gt tips and theyre 2 inch diameter at the smallest point.
i agree that no matter what tips you get, the must not stick out further than 1 inch past the GT holes in the valence though.
my dad has 2 turn down tips coming out of the bottom of his valence and both of us think theyre [:'(]. he bought the gt chrom trim and were gonna copy my original gt valence so he can cut out the holes for his and get the same tips.
