im going to be getting 2 1/4 pipe and mufflers installed this week

it will be dual exhaust coming out the rear..........

so my question is how far about should the pipe be from each other.

then i would spilt the difference and measure from the center of the car to the left / right for the location.

I dont want to have them to close...or to far away?

any suggestions?

 

it will pretty much only come out in place each side of the gas tank

 

yeah theres only a small tunnel between the leafs and the gas tank where th pipes can go. or you can find the measurments of where the gt holes go and thatd line em up perfectly.

 

yah. there'snot much you can do wrong here (from having them coming out the proper end)

 

have you looked into the header-back exhausts? I just got my JBA header back exhaust in and it sounds great, and was very easy to get in (and I have a TCP stage 2 sub-frame kit so it was a bit tight but went in nicely). The exhaust comes in 2 1/2" and definitely has a cool exhaust tone. I paid a guy to fabricate the piece to get from my stock exhaust manifold to the H-pipe piece. It was a bit pricey to buy the exhaust and have the pieces fabricated but I wanted mandrel bends in the pipe.
