I'm seriously considering replacing thewindshield in my 66 convertible. I'm tired of looking at the old original one that is pitted and just looks like crap. I've never done this job before but have taken out and replaced all my other window glass with not a lot of problems.
In looking at the windshields for sale from the big Mustang vendors, I see they have a clear one and a tinted one. The tinted one is advertised "just like the original". Well my original is not tinted so I am undecided which one to go with.
If you have any suggestions on this or advice in tackling this job, I would like to hear all comments before I start.

 

The tinted one is just a strip at the top of the window, I like it because I have a black vinyl top so it flows into it. Other then that, it honestly up to the style of your car, you cant go wrong with clear
