Default '66 Mustang with a '77 302 wiring problem

I'm putting a '77 model 302 in my '66 Mustang. I have the coil and the alumium "box" that plugs into the distributor, but the wires to the coil were cut and I don't know how to rewire the coil and where to pick up the hot feed for the ignition. Can anyone tell me how to simplify the wiring just to get the engine to run? I understand the "old" points ignition system, but this new stuff is something else. This is my first Mustang project and it's working on me more than I'm working on it. Thanks for any advise.... Billy...

I know 1 goes to the distributor and the other goes to the ignition.

Negative - Distributor
Positive- Part of ignition wiring.

You need to get a 77 model wiring diagram to see howthe ignition circuitwas wired. Obviously, there's wiring between the dist, coil and box that needs to be hooked up. SorryI couldn't be more help.
