HEIDTS 4 LINK
I am after some feed back from anyone who has installed the Heidts four link rear, sub frame connectors and the chasis stiffner. What the ride like and is it good bang for your buck. I am thinking about putting them on my 65 and would like to hear from some people that have put them on their car.
Talk to angliagasser when he put his in he had to modifly it to fit.Unless you want a drag car a 4bar/4link isn't the best for handling.A triangulated 4 bar is better which is this http://www.maxgsystems.com/presenter...key=Max-G-Home or http://www.evolutionmsport.com/evmCa...865a4f81fc1703 and http://www.rrs-online.com/3linkproducts.php the last two you'll use whatever sub frame connectors you like.
i have the four link. it took some work to get right, because i also swapped in a 9 inch. traction is awesome. ride quality is about the same. i have adjustable coilovers and hocks, its taking me a while to get teh shocks and springs set right. it has a ride to that of an 18 wheeler on air bags. i just need to make some adjustments. good kit overall.
RRS is way to expensive in this country. Putting the Heidts in is a lot cheaper thant any of the suggested stuff, I know you get what you pay for, but I am supercharging a very warm 302 and want to go in a straight line fast so I thought this would be a good option. A little bit of modification won't hurt
I installed a Kit from Art Morrison in a friends 66 Fairlane. The Ride is about the same and the adjustability is good, his car has a mild 302 in it. The kit can easily be built from scratch after you see it. If I install another one I will just buy Tabs, Hiem joints and bars and make my own.
The fays2 watts link looks cheaply made and there scared to price it on there site.Id go with http://www.evolutionmsport.com/evmCa...cd3565f608f760
