Okay I have fitted the four link Heidts to the car now. I have noticed it is a little bouncy in the rear, does anyone know what can be done to stiffen the ride a little, like new shocks or coils. Put the brace and stiffner on at the same time and all together it has made a big difference.

that's how we got conned into another set. We had the same problem. Have to buy the adjustable coil overs to fix it. We got auth to return them, let them know we would buy them in advance so the customer could come in, and swap without losing his DD. We got them, it fixed it, then they would not return our money for the used ones, even after we told them specifically they were on the car. We lost 500 on that ****ty deal. Tell Bob I said Hi, and to fix his kit. The coils are too soft for any mustang. They built the kit and I guess didn't actually test it out. Hope it works out better for you then us.

First off good luck fixing your problem Derwin66.

I am going to go a little off topic with this but I've been looking at suspension items for my Mustang as well.

TCP looks well constructed but pricey.

Griggs has many raving about the handling but extremely expensive. Since a lot of people are posting to this thread what is the best for a balance between straight line driving and for a fun road course?

Just curious since this is always a popular topic.

CPRStreetmachines what would you recommend? I know my 69 is heavier and wider than the 65-66 Mustangs but what is the best for classic mustangs in general?

Just curious and since so many are posting to this thread I thought I'd ask.

Sorry Derwin for hijacking your thread but I thought this was similar to your questions.

Try http://www.evolutionmsport.com/evmCa...products_id=49 or http://www.maxgsystems.com/presenter...key=Max-G-Home or just stiff leafs and shocks and use a watts link the first link sells them too.

CPR do you know of another adjustable coil over that might fit without going to Heidts again.

So CPR I am in Australia and in the process of getting some adjustables to fix it. Did it ride a lot better then. IN a straight line the difference is incredible for traction and take off, the only thing I have found that lets it down is the bouncy bit and with the new adjustbles I hope it should be good. Am I thinking the right way?

Dang guys, sorry I totally missed this coming back up.
Sorry Derwin, I don't know of anything that would fix it. All these people with the same problem, kind seems like a trend, no? Yeah, the adjustables will fix it.
69FB, what's your budget. 5 leafs, low with a rear swaybar handles pretty good believe it or not.

I looked at the heidts and made a call to the vendor. He said the shocks that came with the kit are adjustable. Did they make the change or are you guys talking about a different type of adjustable coilover?
