I see TCI have what looks like a three link system that includes subrame connectors and chasis stiffners. Any ideas on that one

If you mean this http://www.totalcontrolproducts.com/rpss_fd.html to me its over priced and if you don't have a 9 inch now your stuck building one to fit the housing it comes with and lacks a sway bar.Out of all the 3 links http://www.evolutionmsport.com/evmCa...865a4f81fc1703 and the rrs one are the only two id use on subframe connectors id use global west ones with there outer rocker panel rail.

No I mean this one, http://www.totalcostinvolved.com/mus...mp;r_intro.cfm
It is about $1600. I think Total control are a little expensive for what they are. This one isa little like the RRS one

&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;Yes, I did put it in a 66 Mustang. I had to modified the braket that goes into where the front leaf sprind bolts into. But it was no big deal what so ever. I had the rear 4-link and frame stiffener bolted in in about 3 to four hours and that was with modifying that front braket. I still have not finished the car yet though. Work and my messing up my shoulder have gotten in the way.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;I was going to put a Lincoln&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;Versailles dics brake 9 inch rearend in it. But the calibers are just a little bit in the way of where the brakets are suppose to go. So now I am looking for someone with a stock 66 Mustang rear end that wants to do some tradingfor a disc brake rear end. The Versailles dics&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;brake&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;rear end will work just fine in a Mustang with leaf spring.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;I&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;drove a&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;Mustang that has this suspension in it and I really like the way in handled. The owner said it was the best thing he ever did. But his&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;is a fastback and mine is a coupe. He road races his alot and has owned&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;his car for 40 years.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Here are some picture of the 4-link suspension in the car.

Now I remember talking to you. You are from Australia! I have a question for you. I am looking for a two piece hood top for a 33-4 ******. You would not happen to know where I can find one? I have a coupe that I am working on and all I need to have it all metal is the hood. bfamx2@hotmail.com

First thing that crossed my mind when I saw the title of this thread was "street rod stuff". And for the stated purposes it should be entirely satisfactory. Street rods still are more about straight line performance, (reasonably) comfortable cruising, and car shows than they are about handling and hard cornering.

Unless/until you always seem to be going faster through the turns than everybody around you, it probably doesn"t matter much what sort of suspension you put under the back end. When/if you get to that point, you won"t need people warning you that it might not be as happy doing hard corners as hard burnouts. You'll know, because the car will tell you.

Norm it will be for straight line stuff, I am a bit of grandma when it comes todriving, just every now and again I will take it down the track to see how fast it will go. It only comes out for a drive to a showl, club cruise or track once a month or so. Angliagasser I will make some inquiries for you, don't know anything about 33-34 ******. I suggest you go to the Mustang Club of Australia forum they might be able to help there.

Still say your better off keeping the leaf springs there are 6 sec drag cars that still use a leaf spring theres ways to make them handle and launch hard but will ride a little rough like a sports car kinda.
