Default Radiator paint

Hi,
Restoring our '67. What is the correct original color for the radiator? semigloss (same as rest of the engine compartment), or gloss black?

Thanks.

You need to use a special paint on the radiator, not just standard acrylic enamel. All you need is a very light coat of black lacquer radiator paint. Thicker paints impair the heat transfer ability of the brass.

Eastwood makes a special radiator paint. I'm getting ready to try it, so I'll post the results.
