Default Spark plug gap...and broken dipstick need advice!

I have 2 questions.

1. My car misses everyonce and awhile, I was wondering if the spark plug gap is set right, what should it be? it is a 68 302, with Pertronix electronic ignition.

2. My oil dipstick tube broke off clean with the block, I can't grip it with needle nose pliers to pull it out and I tried wedgeing a screwdriver inbetween it and the block with no luck. How do I get it out? Should I try drilling it out and changing the oil and just hope I get all the Junk out?

Thanks.

I'd easy out the dipstick tube, and try to produce as little debris as possible, and DEFINATELY change the oil afterwards. As for the plugs, it depends on the power of the ignition system, and the build of the engine. What coil does it have, and is it using an ignition amplifier? What heads, cam, intake etc.

it has a pertronix Flame Thrower coil (1.5 ohms, 40,000 volts) and the Pertronix Ignitor electronic ignition. Edelbrock Preformer RPM intake, stock heads (for now) cam is unknown (PO said not stock, but it is really mild at best)

Thanks, I will try using an easy out later today.
