Default Electric Problems

I have a 65 Mustang that i'm redoing. I am working on the engine compartment first, and am done now. Before i started the car wouldnt start, put new starter, solenoid, battery on, still wouldnt start, jumped across the starter and everything, wouldnt turn. So my dad told me to take out the plugs and that worked, once it turned for little bit, put them back in, and fired it up. The i worked on the compartment, its sat for few months, i reran the electric wires out of the way to clean things up and remounted the starter solenoid. Now went to restart it and nothing gets power. The battery has power, the solenoid is grounded, so isnt the engine, so isnt the starter, and i jumped across the starter again without plugs and nothing, not even a click from the starter. The headlights, interior lights, nothing has power. Any ideas? Someone else said bad ground but i cant find any bad grounds.

you have two grounds, one from the battery to the eng block, and then a second ground strap running from the head to the fire wall. I'd be looking at the battery to eng ground to make sure you have good solid clean metal.

If you're sure your battery is good, the main power for the car runs thru the electrical disconnect plugs adjecent to the master cylinder. Give those a look for tightness. If you have a voltmeter you can start checking for voltages at key points. You'll need a wiring diagram also. these used to be present in the FAQ section.
