Engine parts?

Default Engine parts?

What goes in the hole in the top of the thermostat housing? Here they have it blocked off it appears..And also, what's in the driver's side of the intake manifold that I see? Sorry for all the newb engine questions tonight...

i dont know what your asking about the thermostat housing but im 99.99% sure thats the water temp sending unit in the intake manifold

yeah i second that about the temp. sensor on the intake... i think that the thermostat could be used for a eletcric fan switch or something along thoes lines...

Dont some cars have a heat related vacum tree in the thermo housing. That is definetlly a temp sensor in the intake as prev. stated
