Default bolts

Is there somewhere or a book that will tell me what sizebolts go where, For instance the motor mount bolts, the starter bolts, etc..I bought this thing in pieces so I don't have a coffee can with bolts and nuts in it. Thanks

There is the Ford Shop Manual to start with. It'll provide you with all the information you need. There are also new bolt packages you can buy to ensure you have all the parts you need.. and they are new. Like this 260-302 Stainless Hex Bolt Kit. You may also attempt a Google search. The Shop Manual is the best source for info though. If your rebuilding a small block there is also the book: "How To Rebuild Small Block Ford Engines" which will help.

ARP sells bolt kits to replace everything for the entire motor (intake, exhaust, timing cover, etc). normally i save money by reusing old bolts or even upgrading with stainless from the local ace hardware - but if you have nothing to start with it may be a worthy investment.

Look for the "assembly manuals", I believe they have the bolt sizes in them.
